How to burn soy candles? Basic rules.
The soy candle should be at room temperature before lighting, which will allow the wax to melt more easily. The first burning of the candle should last about 2-3 hours for the wax to dissolve thoroughly over the entire surface. Thanks to this, the candle will later burn evenly without tunneling and will allow you to use the candle in 100% to the last drop of wax. If we do not do this, the candle will melt only to the place it reached the first time. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Long burning can cause the oil to burn out faster, so the candle may have a weaker scent later on. The length of the wick is also important. In order for the candle to burn with an even flame, before each kindling (if the wick is long), cut it to approx. 0.5-1 cm. Never leave a candle unattended or place it in a draft. Place candles on a stand or on a surface (e.g. on a lid) that will not be damaged by high temperature.
